Surah Al-Araf, verse 4

وَكَم مِّن قَرْيَةٍ أَهْلَكْنَـٰهَا فَجَآءَهَا بَأْسُنَا بَيَـٰتًا أَوْ هُمْ قَآئِلُونَ ﴿٤﴾
7:4 How many towns We have destroyed, and Our punishment came upon them at night or while they were taking midday rest
