Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 179

وَلَكُمْ فِى ٱلْقِصَاصِ حَيَوٰةٌ يَـٰٓأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَلْبَـٰبِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ ﴿١٧٩﴾
2:179 In the legal retribution, there is [saving of] life for you, O people of understanding, so that you may become righteous
