Surah Al-Imran, verse 127

لِيَقْطَعَ طَرَفًا مِّنَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ أَوْ يَكْبِتَهُمْ فَيَنقَلِبُوا۟ خَآئِبِينَ ﴿١٢٧﴾
3:127 in order to destroy a section of the disbelievers or disgrace them, so they may turn back utterly disappointed
