Surah Al-Maunسورة الماعون
Almsgiving. Meccan, 7 verses. Starts in Juz 30, page 602.
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
أَرَءَيْتَ ٱلَّذِى يُكَذِّبُ بِٱلدِّينِ ﴿١﴾
107:1 Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense
فَذَٰلِكَ ٱلَّذِى يَدُعُّ ٱلْيَتِيمَ ﴿٢﴾
107:2 Such is the one who repulses the orphan harshly
وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلْمِسْكِينِ ﴿٣﴾
107:3 and does not urge others to feed the needy
فَوَيْلٌ لِّلْمُصَلِّينَ ﴿٤﴾
107:4 So woe to those who pray
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عَن صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ ﴿٥﴾
107:5 but are heedless of their prayer
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَآءُونَ ﴿٦﴾
107:6 those who only show off
وَيَمْنَعُونَ ٱلْمَاعُونَ ﴿٧﴾
107:7 and withhold even the small kindnesses
