Surah Al-Qadrسورة القدر

إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ فِى لَيْلَةِ ٱلْقَدْرِ ﴿١﴾

97:1 Indeed, We sent this [Qur’an] down in the Night of Decree

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ ﴿٢﴾

97:2 How do you know what the Night of Decree is

لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ ﴿٣﴾

97:3 The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months

تَنَزَّلُ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍ ﴿٤﴾

97:4 On that night the angels and the Spirit [Gabriel] descend by their Lord’s permission with all decrees

سَلَـٰمٌ هِىَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ ٱلْفَجْرِ ﴿٥﴾

97:5 It is all peace until the break of dawn
