Surah Al-Qariahسورة القارعة

ٱلْقَارِعَةُ ﴿١﴾

101:1 The Striking Calamity

مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُ ﴿٢﴾

101:2 What is the Striking Calamity

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُ ﴿٣﴾

101:3 How do you know what the Striking Calamity is

يَوْمَ يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلْفَرَاشِ ٱلْمَبْثُوثِ ﴿٤﴾

101:4 On that Day people will be like scattered moths

وَتَكُونُ ٱلْجِبَالُ كَٱلْعِهْنِ ٱلْمَنفُوشِ ﴿٥﴾

101:5 and the mountains will be like carded wool

فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ ﴿٦﴾

101:6 Then the one whose scales of good deeds are heavy

فَهُوَ فِى عِيشَةٍ رَّاضِيَةٍ ﴿٧﴾

101:7 will have a pleasant life

وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ ﴿٨﴾

101:8 But the one whose scales of good deeds are light

فَأُمُّهُۥ هَاوِيَةٌ ﴿٩﴾

101:9 his abode will be the abyss

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا هِيَهْ ﴿١٠﴾

101:10 And how do you know what it is

نَارٌ حَامِيَةٌۢ ﴿١١﴾

101:11 It is a Blazing Fire
