Surah Ash-Shuaraسورة الشعراء

طسٓمٓ ﴿١﴾

26:1 Tā sīn mīm

تِلْكَ ءَايَـٰتُ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ ٱلْمُبِينِ ﴿٢﴾

26:2 These are the verses of the clear Book

لَعَلَّكَ بَـٰخِعٌ نَّفْسَكَ أَلَّا يَكُونُوا۟ مُؤْمِنِينَ ﴿٣﴾

26:3 Perhaps you will grieve yourself to death because they do not believe

إِن نَّشَأْ نُنَزِّلْ عَلَيْهِم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ ءَايَةً فَظَلَّتْ أَعْنَـٰقُهُمْ لَهَا خَـٰضِعِينَ ﴿٤﴾

26:4 If We willed, We could send down upon them a sign from the heaven, at which their necks would stay bowed in humility

وَمَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن ذِكْرٍ مِّنَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ مُحْدَثٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ عَنْهُ مُعْرِضِينَ ﴿٥﴾

26:5 No new reminder comes to them from the Most Compassionate except that they turn away from it

فَقَدْ كَذَّبُوا۟ فَسَيَأْتِيهِمْ أَنۢبَـٰٓؤُا۟ مَا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ ﴿٦﴾

26:6 They have rejected [the Truth], soon there will come to them the consequences of their ridicule

أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ كَمْ أَنۢبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ زَوْجٍ كَرِيمٍ ﴿٧﴾

26:7 Do they not see the earth, how many fine kinds of plants We grow in it

إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ ﴿٨﴾

26:8 Indeed, there is a sign in this, yet most of them will not believe

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ﴿٩﴾

26:9 Your Lord is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful

وَإِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبُّكَ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنِ ٱئْتِ ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ ﴿١٠﴾

26:10 And [remember] when your Lord called out to Moses, “Go to the wrongdoing people –

قَوْمَ فِرْعَوْنَ ۚ أَلَا يَتَّقُونَ ﴿١١﴾

26:11 the people of Pharaoh; will they not fear [the punishment of] Allah?”

قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ أَن يُكَذِّبُونِ ﴿١٢﴾

26:12 He said, “My Lord, I fear that they may reject me

وَيَضِيقُ صَدْرِى وَلَا يَنطَلِقُ لِسَانِى فَأَرْسِلْ إِلَىٰ هَـٰرُونَ ﴿١٣﴾

26:13 and I will feel distressed and my tongue will not be fluent, so send Aaron along [to help me]

وَلَهُمْ عَلَىَّ ذَنۢبٌ فَأَخَافُ أَن يَقْتُلُونِ ﴿١٤﴾

26:14 Moreover, they have a charge against me, so I fear they may kill me.”

قَالَ كَلَّا ۖ فَٱذْهَبَا بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآ ۖ إِنَّا مَعَكُم مُّسْتَمِعُونَ ﴿١٥﴾

26:15 Allah said, “Certainly not! Go, both of you, with Our signs; We are with you, listening

فَأْتِيَا فِرْعَوْنَ فَقُولَآ إِنَّا رَسُولُ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ﴿١٦﴾

26:16 Go to Pharaoh and say, ‘We are the messengers from the Lord of the worlds

أَنْ أَرْسِلْ مَعَنَا بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ ﴿١٧﴾

26:17 that you let the Children of Israel go with us.’”

قَالَ أَلَمْ نُرَبِّكَ فِينَا وَلِيدًا وَلَبِثْتَ فِينَا مِنْ عُمُرِكَ سِنِينَ ﴿١٨﴾

26:18 Pharaoh said, “Did we not bring you up as a child among us, and you stayed with us several years of your life

وَفَعَلْتَ فَعْلَتَكَ ٱلَّتِى فَعَلْتَ وَأَنتَ مِنَ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ ﴿١٩﴾

26:19 Yet you did what you did, and you are extremely ungrateful.”

قَالَ فَعَلْتُهَآ إِذًا وَأَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلضَّآلِّينَ ﴿٢٠﴾

26:20 He said, “I did it when I had no guidance

فَفَرَرْتُ مِنكُمْ لَمَّا خِفْتُكُمْ فَوَهَبَ لِى رَبِّى حُكْمًا وَجَعَلَنِى مِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ ﴿٢١﴾

26:21 So I fled from you in fear. Then my Lord gave me wisdom and made me one of the messengers

وَتِلْكَ نِعْمَةٌ تَمُنُّهَا عَلَىَّ أَنْ عَبَّدتَّ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ ﴿٢٢﴾

26:22 Is this a favor that you remind me with, that you have enslaved the Children of Israel

قَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ وَمَا رَبُّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ﴿٢٣﴾

26:23 Pharaoh said, “What is ‘the Lord of the worlds’?”

قَالَ رَبُّ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَآ ۖ إِن كُنتُم مُّوقِنِينَ ﴿٢٤﴾

26:24 Moses said, “The Lord of the heavens and earth and all that is between them, if only you had sure faith.”

قَالَ لِمَنْ حَوْلَهُۥٓ أَلَا تَسْتَمِعُونَ ﴿٢٥﴾

26:25 Pharaoh said to those around him, “Did you hear [what he just said]?”

قَالَ رَبُّكُمْ وَرَبُّ ءَابَآئِكُمُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ﴿٢٦﴾

26:26 Moses said, “Your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers.”

قَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَكُمُ ٱلَّذِىٓ أُرْسِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ لَمَجْنُونٌ ﴿٢٧﴾

26:27 Pharaoh said, “Your messenger who has been sent to you is truly insane!”

قَالَ رَبُّ ٱلْمَشْرِقِ وَٱلْمَغْرِبِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَآ ۖ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ ﴿٢٨﴾

26:28 Moses said, “Lord of the east and west and all that is between them, if only you had sense!”

قَالَ لَئِنِ ٱتَّخَذْتَ إِلَـٰهًا غَيْرِى لَأَجْعَلَنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْمَسْجُونِينَ ﴿٢٩﴾

26:29 Pharaoh said, “If you take any god other than me, I will throw you into prison.”

قَالَ أَوَلَوْ جِئْتُكَ بِشَىْءٍ مُّبِينٍ ﴿٣٠﴾

26:30 Moses said, “What if I bring you a clear proof?”

قَالَ فَأْتِ بِهِۦٓ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ ﴿٣١﴾

26:31 Pharaoh said, “Bring it then, if you are truthful!”

فَأَلْقَىٰ عَصَاهُ فَإِذَا هِىَ ثُعْبَانٌ مُّبِينٌ ﴿٣٢﴾

26:32 So he threw down his staff, and suddenly it was a real serpent

وَنَزَعَ يَدَهُۥ فَإِذَا هِىَ بَيْضَآءُ لِلنَّـٰظِرِينَ ﴿٣٣﴾

26:33 And he drew out his hand, and it was glowing white to the beholders

قَالَ لِلْمَلَإِ حَوْلَهُۥٓ إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَسَـٰحِرٌ عَلِيمٌ ﴿٣٤﴾

26:34 Pharaoh said to the chiefs around him, “This is indeed a learned magician

يُرِيدُ أَن يُخْرِجَكُم مِّنْ أَرْضِكُم بِسِحْرِهِۦ فَمَاذَا تَأْمُرُونَ ﴿٣٥﴾

26:35 He wants to drive you out of your land with his magic. What do you suggest?”

قَالُوٓا۟ أَرْجِهْ وَأَخَاهُ وَٱبْعَثْ فِى ٱلْمَدَآئِنِ حَـٰشِرِينَ ﴿٣٦﴾

26:36 They said, “Let him and his brother wait and dispatch heralds to the cities

يَأْتُوكَ بِكُلِّ سَحَّارٍ عَلِيمٍ ﴿٣٧﴾

26:37 to bring you every learned magician.”

فَجُمِعَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ لِمِيقَـٰتِ يَوْمٍ مَّعْلُومٍ ﴿٣٨﴾

26:38 So the magician were assembled at an appointed time on a known day

وَقِيلَ لِلنَّاسِ هَلْ أَنتُم مُّجْتَمِعُونَ ﴿٣٩﴾

26:39 And it was said to the people, “Will you join the gathering

لَعَلَّنَا نَتَّبِعُ ٱلسَّحَرَةَ إِن كَانُوا۟ هُمُ ٱلْغَـٰلِبِينَ ﴿٤٠﴾

26:40 so that we may follow the magicians if they are victorious?”

فَلَمَّا جَآءَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ قَالُوا۟ لِفِرْعَوْنَ أَئِنَّ لَنَا لَأَجْرًا إِن كُنَّا نَحْنُ ٱلْغَـٰلِبِينَ ﴿٤١﴾

26:41 When the magicians came, they said to Pharaoh, “Will there be a reward for us if we are victorious?”

قَالَ نَعَمْ وَإِنَّكُمْ إِذًا لَّمِنَ ٱلْمُقَرَّبِينَ ﴿٤٢﴾

26:42 He said, “Yes, and then you will surely be of those who are close to me.”

قَالَ لَهُم مُّوسَىٰٓ أَلْقُوا۟ مَآ أَنتُم مُّلْقُونَ ﴿٤٣﴾

26:43 Moses said to them, “Throw whatever you wish to throw.”

فَأَلْقَوْا۟ حِبَالَهُمْ وَعِصِيَّهُمْ وَقَالُوا۟ بِعِزَّةِ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّا لَنَحْنُ ٱلْغَـٰلِبُونَ ﴿٤٤﴾

26:44 So they threw their ropes and staffs, and said, “By the glory of Pharaoh, it is we who will be the victorious!”

فَأَلْقَىٰ مُوسَىٰ عَصَاهُ فَإِذَا هِىَ تَلْقَفُ مَا يَأْفِكُونَ ﴿٤٥﴾

26:45 Then Moses threw his staff, and at once it swallowed up all objects of their illusion

فَأُلْقِىَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ سَـٰجِدِينَ ﴿٤٦﴾

26:46 So the magicians fell down in prostration

قَالُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا بِرَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ﴿٤٧﴾

26:47 They said, “We believe in the Lord of the worlds

رَبِّ مُوسَىٰ وَهَـٰرُونَ ﴿٤٨﴾

26:48 the Lord of Moses and Aaron.”

قَالَ ءَامَنتُمْ لَهُۥ قَبْلَ أَنْ ءَاذَنَ لَكُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَكَبِيرُكُمُ ٱلَّذِى عَلَّمَكُمُ ٱلسِّحْرَ فَلَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ ۚ لَأُقَطِّعَنَّ أَيْدِيَكُمْ وَأَرْجُلَكُم مِّنْ خِلَـٰفٍ وَلَأُصَلِّبَنَّكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ ﴿٤٩﴾

26:49 Pharaoh said, “How dare you believe in him before I give you permission. Indeed, he is your master who taught you magic, but you will soon come to know. I will surely cut off your hands and feet on opposite sides, then I will crucify you all.”

قَالُوا۟ لَا ضَيْرَ ۖ إِنَّآ إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا مُنقَلِبُونَ ﴿٥٠﴾

26:50 They said, “No harm; we will surely return to our Lord

إِنَّا نَطْمَعُ أَن يَغْفِرَ لَنَا رَبُّنَا خَطَـٰيَـٰنَآ أَن كُنَّآ أَوَّلَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ﴿٥١﴾

26:51 We hope that our Lord will forgive us our sins, as we are the first of the believers.”

۞ وَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنْ أَسْرِ بِعِبَادِىٓ إِنَّكُم مُّتَّبَعُونَ ﴿٥٢﴾

26:52 We inspired Moses, “Leave with My slaves by night; you will surely be pursued.”

فَأَرْسَلَ فِرْعَوْنُ فِى ٱلْمَدَآئِنِ حَـٰشِرِينَ ﴿٥٣﴾

26:53 So Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities

إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ لَشِرْذِمَةٌ قَلِيلُونَ ﴿٥٤﴾

26:54 saying, “These are but a small band

وَإِنَّهُمْ لَنَا لَغَآئِظُونَ ﴿٥٥﴾

26:55 and they have enraged us

وَإِنَّا لَجَمِيعٌ حَـٰذِرُونَ ﴿٥٦﴾

26:56 but we are all well-prepared.”

فَأَخْرَجْنَـٰهُم مِّن جَنَّـٰتٍ وَعُيُونٍ ﴿٥٧﴾

26:57 Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs

وَكُنُوزٍ وَمَقَامٍ كَرِيمٍ ﴿٥٨﴾

26:58 and their treasures and splendid dwellings

كَذَٰلِكَ وَأَوْرَثْنَـٰهَا بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ ﴿٥٩﴾

26:59 So it was; and We made the Children of Israel to inherit them

فَأَتْبَعُوهُم مُّشْرِقِينَ ﴿٦٠﴾

26:60 They pursued them at sunrise

فَلَمَّا تَرَٰٓءَا ٱلْجَمْعَانِ قَالَ أَصْحَـٰبُ مُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّا لَمُدْرَكُونَ ﴿٦١﴾

26:61 When the two groups saw each other, the companions of Moses said, “We are surely overtaken!”

قَالَ كَلَّآ ۖ إِنَّ مَعِىَ رَبِّى سَيَهْدِينِ ﴿٦٢﴾

26:62 Moses said, “Certainly not! My Lord is with me; He will guide me.”

فَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنِ ٱضْرِب بِّعَصَاكَ ٱلْبَحْرَ ۖ فَٱنفَلَقَ فَكَانَ كُلُّ فِرْقٍ كَٱلطَّوْدِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ ﴿٦٣﴾

26:63 Then We inspired Moses, “Strike the sea with your staff,” so it parted, each part became like a huge mountain

وَأَزْلَفْنَا ثَمَّ ٱلْـَٔاخَرِينَ ﴿٦٤﴾

26:64 Then We brought the others [pursuers] close to that place

وَأَنجَيْنَا مُوسَىٰ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥٓ أَجْمَعِينَ ﴿٦٥﴾

26:65 and We saved Moses and all those who were with him

ثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا ٱلْـَٔاخَرِينَ ﴿٦٦﴾

26:66 then We drowned the others

إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ ﴿٦٧﴾

26:67 Indeed, there is a sign in this, yet most of them would not believe

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ﴿٦٨﴾

26:68 Indeed, your Lord is the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful

وَٱتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ ﴿٦٩﴾

26:69 Relate to them the story of Abraham

إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِۦ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ ﴿٧٠﴾

26:70 when he said to his father and his people, “What do you worship?”

قَالُوا۟ نَعْبُدُ أَصْنَامًا فَنَظَلُّ لَهَا عَـٰكِفِينَ ﴿٧١﴾

26:71 They said, “We worship idols and remain devoted to them.”

قَالَ هَلْ يَسْمَعُونَكُمْ إِذْ تَدْعُونَ ﴿٧٢﴾

26:72 He said, “Do they hear you when you call upon them

أَوْ يَنفَعُونَكُمْ أَوْ يَضُرُّونَ ﴿٧٣﴾

26:73 Or can they benefit or harm you?”

قَالُوا۟ بَلْ وَجَدْنَآ ءَابَآءَنَا كَذَٰلِكَ يَفْعَلُونَ ﴿٧٤﴾

26:74 They said, “No, but this is what we found our forefathers doing.”

قَالَ أَفَرَءَيْتُم مَّا كُنتُمْ تَعْبُدُونَ ﴿٧٥﴾

26:75 He said, “Do you see what you have been worshiping

أَنتُمْ وَءَابَآؤُكُمُ ٱلْأَقْدَمُونَ ﴿٧٦﴾

26:76 you and your ancestors

فَإِنَّهُمْ عَدُوٌّ لِّىٓ إِلَّا رَبَّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ﴿٧٧﴾

26:77 Indeed, they are my enemies, except the Lord of the worlds

ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَنِى فَهُوَ يَهْدِينِ ﴿٧٨﴾

26:78 Who created me, so He guides me

وَٱلَّذِى هُوَ يُطْعِمُنِى وَيَسْقِينِ ﴿٧٩﴾

26:79 and it is He Who provides me with food and drink

وَإِذَا مَرِضْتُ فَهُوَ يَشْفِينِ ﴿٨٠﴾

26:80 and when I am ill He heals me

وَٱلَّذِى يُمِيتُنِى ثُمَّ يُحْيِينِ ﴿٨١﴾

26:81 and He will cause me to die then bring me back to life

وَٱلَّذِىٓ أَطْمَعُ أَن يَغْفِرَ لِى خَطِيٓـَٔتِى يَوْمَ ٱلدِّينِ ﴿٨٢﴾

26:82 and I hope that He will forgive me my sins on the Day of Judgment.”

رَبِّ هَبْ لِى حُكْمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِى بِٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ ﴿٨٣﴾

26:83 “My Lord, grant me knowledge, and join me with the righteous

وَٱجْعَل لِّى لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ فِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ ﴿٨٤﴾

26:84 and grant me an honorable mention among the later generations

وَٱجْعَلْنِى مِن وَرَثَةِ جَنَّةِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ ﴿٨٥﴾

26:85 and make me of those who will inherit the Garden of Bliss

وَٱغْفِرْ لِأَبِىٓ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلضَّآلِّينَ ﴿٨٦﴾

26:86 and forgive my father, for he is one of those who have gone astray

وَلَا تُخْزِنِى يَوْمَ يُبْعَثُونَ ﴿٨٧﴾

26:87 and do not disgrace me on the Day when all will be resurrected –

يَوْمَ لَا يَنفَعُ مَالٌ وَلَا بَنُونَ ﴿٨٨﴾

26:88 the Day when neither wealth nor children will be of any avail

إِلَّا مَنْ أَتَى ٱللَّهَ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيمٍ ﴿٨٩﴾

26:89 except the one who comes to Allah with a sound heart.”

وَأُزْلِفَتِ ٱلْجَنَّةُ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ ﴿٩٠﴾

26:90 Paradise will be brought near to the righteous

وَبُرِّزَتِ ٱلْجَحِيمُ لِلْغَاوِينَ ﴿٩١﴾

26:91 and Hellfire will be uncovered to those who went astray

وَقِيلَ لَهُمْ أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْبُدُونَ ﴿٩٢﴾

26:92 and they will be told, “Where are those whom you used to worship

مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ هَلْ يَنصُرُونَكُمْ أَوْ يَنتَصِرُونَ ﴿٩٣﴾

26:93 other than Allah? Can they help you or even help themselves?”

فَكُبْكِبُوا۟ فِيهَا هُمْ وَٱلْغَاوُۥنَ ﴿٩٤﴾

26:94 Then they will be hurled into Hell one upon another, along with those who led them astray

وَجُنُودُ إِبْلِيسَ أَجْمَعُونَ ﴿٩٥﴾

26:95 and the followers of Iblīs, all together

قَالُوا۟ وَهُمْ فِيهَا يَخْتَصِمُونَ ﴿٩٦﴾

26:96 There the deviants will say while quarreling with their false deities

تَٱللَّهِ إِن كُنَّا لَفِى ضَلَـٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ ﴿٩٧﴾

26:97 “By Allah, we were clearly misguided

إِذْ نُسَوِّيكُم بِرَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ﴿٩٨﴾

26:98 when we deemed you equal to the Lord of the worlds

وَمَآ أَضَلَّنَآ إِلَّا ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ ﴿٩٩﴾

26:99 None led us astray except the wicked

فَمَا لَنَا مِن شَـٰفِعِينَ ﴿١٠٠﴾

26:100 Now we neither have any intercessors

وَلَا صَدِيقٍ حَمِيمٍ ﴿١٠١﴾

26:101 nor a close friend

فَلَوْ أَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةً فَنَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ﴿١٠٢﴾

26:102 If only we had a chance to return, we would be among the believers.”

إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ ﴿١٠٣﴾

26:103 Indeed, there is a sign in this, yet most of them would not believe

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ﴿١٠٤﴾

26:104 Your Lord is surely the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful

كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ ﴿١٠٥﴾

26:105 The people of Noah rejected the messengers

إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ نُوحٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ ﴿١٠٦﴾

26:106 when their brother Noah said to them, “Do you not fear Allah

إِنِّى لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ ﴿١٠٧﴾

26:107 I am a trustworthy messenger to you

فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ ﴿١٠٨﴾

26:108 so fear Allah, and obey me

وَمَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ﴿١٠٩﴾

26:109 I seek of you no reward for this; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds

فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ ﴿١١٠﴾

26:110 so fear Allah, and obey me.”

۞ قَالُوٓا۟ أَنُؤْمِنُ لَكَ وَٱتَّبَعَكَ ٱلْأَرْذَلُونَ ﴿١١١﴾

26:111 They said, “Shall we believe in you when you are followed by the lowest people?”

قَالَ وَمَا عِلْمِى بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ ﴿١١٢﴾

26:112 He said, “What knowledge do I have of what they do

إِنْ حِسَابُهُمْ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّى ۖ لَوْ تَشْعُرُونَ ﴿١١٣﴾

26:113 Their reckoning is only with my Lord, if you realize

وَمَآ أَنَا۠ بِطَارِدِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ﴿١١٤﴾

26:114 I am not going to drive the believers away

إِنْ أَنَا۠ إِلَّا نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ ﴿١١٥﴾

26:115 I am only a clear warner.”

قَالُوا۟ لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهِ يَـٰنُوحُ لَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْمَرْجُومِينَ ﴿١١٦﴾

26:116 They said, “O Noah, if you do not desist, you will certainly be stoned.”

قَالَ رَبِّ إِنَّ قَوْمِى كَذَّبُونِ ﴿١١٧﴾

26:117 He said, “My Lord, my people have rejected me

فَٱفْتَحْ بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَهُمْ فَتْحًا وَنَجِّنِى وَمَن مَّعِىَ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ﴿١١٨﴾

26:118 So judge between me and them decisively, and save me and the believers who are with me.”

فَأَنجَيْنَـٰهُ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥ فِى ٱلْفُلْكِ ٱلْمَشْحُونِ ﴿١١٩﴾

26:119 So We saved him and those who were with him in the fully laden Ark

ثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا بَعْدُ ٱلْبَاقِينَ ﴿١٢٠﴾

26:120 Then We drowned thereafter all the rest

إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ ﴿١٢١﴾

26:121 Indeed, there is a sign in this, yet most of them would not believe

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ﴿١٢٢﴾

26:122 Indeed, your Lord is the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful

كَذَّبَتْ عَادٌ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ ﴿١٢٣﴾

26:123 The people of ‘Ād rejected the messengers

إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ هُودٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ ﴿١٢٤﴾

26:124 when their brother Hūd said to them, “Will you not fear Allah

إِنِّى لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ ﴿١٢٥﴾

26:125 I am a trustworthy messenger to you

فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ ﴿١٢٦﴾

26:126 so fear Allah, and obey me

وَمَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ﴿١٢٧﴾

26:127 I do not ask you for any reward for this; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds

أَتَبْنُونَ بِكُلِّ رِيعٍ ءَايَةً تَعْبَثُونَ ﴿١٢٨﴾

26:128 Do you build a landmark on every high place for no purpose

وَتَتَّخِذُونَ مَصَانِعَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَخْلُدُونَ ﴿١٢٩﴾

26:129 And do you construct for yourselves palaces, hoping that you will live forever

وَإِذَا بَطَشْتُم بَطَشْتُمْ جَبَّارِينَ ﴿١٣٠﴾

26:130 And when you attack [others], do you attack ruthlessly

فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ ﴿١٣١﴾

26:131 So fear Allah, and obey me

وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَمَدَّكُم بِمَا تَعْلَمُونَ ﴿١٣٢﴾

26:132 And fear the One Who has provided you with everything you know

أَمَدَّكُم بِأَنْعَـٰمٍ وَبَنِينَ ﴿١٣٣﴾

26:133 Who provided you with livestock and children

وَجَنَّـٰتٍ وَعُيُونٍ ﴿١٣٤﴾

26:134 and with gardens and springs

إِنِّىٓ أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ ﴿١٣٥﴾

26:135 I fear for you the punishment of a momentous day.”

قَالُوا۟ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيْنَآ أَوَعَظْتَ أَمْ لَمْ تَكُن مِّنَ ٱلْوَٰعِظِينَ ﴿١٣٦﴾

26:136 They said, “It is the same to us whether you admonish us or not

إِنْ هَـٰذَآ إِلَّا خُلُقُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ﴿١٣٧﴾

26:137 This is nothing but the custom of the former people

وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ ﴿١٣٨﴾

26:138 and we will never be punished.”

فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَهْلَكْنَـٰهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ ﴿١٣٩﴾

26:139 Thus they rejected him, so We destroyed them. Indeed, there is a sign in this, yet most of them would not believe

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ﴿١٤٠﴾

26:140 Your Lord is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful

كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ ﴿١٤١﴾

26:141 The people of Thamūd rejected the messengers

إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ صَـٰلِحٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ ﴿١٤٢﴾

26:142 when their brother Sālih said to them, “Will you not fear Allah

إِنِّى لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ ﴿١٤٣﴾

26:143 I am a trustworthy messenger to you

فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ ﴿١٤٤﴾

26:144 so fear Allah, and obey me

وَمَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ﴿١٤٥﴾

26:145 I do not ask you for any reward for this; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds

أَتُتْرَكُونَ فِى مَا هَـٰهُنَآ ءَامِنِينَ ﴿١٤٦﴾

26:146 Will you be left secure in whatever you have here

فِى جَنَّـٰتٍ وَعُيُونٍ ﴿١٤٧﴾

26:147 in gardens and springs

وَزُرُوعٍ وَنَخْلٍ طَلْعُهَا هَضِيمٌ ﴿١٤٨﴾

26:148 and in fields of crops and date-palms laden with tender fruit

وَتَنْحِتُونَ مِنَ ٱلْجِبَالِ بُيُوتًا فَـٰرِهِينَ ﴿١٤٩﴾

26:149 carving out houses in the mountains with great skill

فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ ﴿١٥٠﴾

26:150 So fear Allah, and obey me

وَلَا تُطِيعُوٓا۟ أَمْرَ ٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ ﴿١٥١﴾

26:151 And do not obey the command of the transgressors

ٱلَّذِينَ يُفْسِدُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَا يُصْلِحُونَ ﴿١٥٢﴾

26:152 those who spread corruption in the land and never do what is right.”

قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مِنَ ٱلْمُسَحَّرِينَ ﴿١٥٣﴾

26:153 They said, “You are but one of those who are bewitched

مَآ أَنتَ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا فَأْتِ بِـَٔايَةٍ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ ﴿١٥٤﴾

26:154 You are but a human like us, so bring a sign if you are one of the truthful.”

قَالَ هَـٰذِهِۦ نَاقَةٌ لَّهَا شِرْبٌ وَلَكُمْ شِرْبُ يَوْمٍ مَّعْلُومٍ ﴿١٥٥﴾

26:155 Sālih said, “This is a she-camel; she will have her share of water and you will have yours, each on a specified day

وَلَا تَمَسُّوهَا بِسُوٓءٍ فَيَأْخُذَكُمْ عَذَابُ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ ﴿١٥٦﴾

26:156 Do not touch her with harm, or you will be seized by the punishment of a horrible day.”

فَعَقَرُوهَا فَأَصْبَحُوا۟ نَـٰدِمِينَ ﴿١٥٧﴾

26:157 But they hamstrung her, then they became regretful

فَأَخَذَهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ ۗ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ ﴿١٥٨﴾

26:158 So the punishment seized them. Indeed, there is a sign in this, yet most of them would not believe

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ﴿١٥٩﴾

26:159 Your Lord is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful

كَذَّبَتْ قَوْمُ لُوطٍ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ ﴿١٦٠﴾

26:160 The people of Lot rejected the messengers

إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ لُوطٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ ﴿١٦١﴾

26:161 when their brother Lot said to them, “Will you not fear Allah

إِنِّى لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ ﴿١٦٢﴾

26:162 I am a trustworthy messenger to you

فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ ﴿١٦٣﴾

26:163 so fear Allah, and obey me

وَمَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ﴿١٦٤﴾

26:164 I do not ask you for any reward for this; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds

أَتَأْتُونَ ٱلذُّكْرَانَ مِنَ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ﴿١٦٥﴾

26:165 Do you approach males with lust among all people

وَتَذَرُونَ مَا خَلَقَ لَكُمْ رَبُّكُم مِّنْ أَزْوَٰجِكُم ۚ بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ عَادُونَ ﴿١٦٦﴾

26:166 leaving the wives whom your Lord has created for you? You are but a transgressing people.”

قَالُوا۟ لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهِ يَـٰلُوطُ لَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْمُخْرَجِينَ ﴿١٦٧﴾

26:167 They said, “O Lot, If you do not desist, you will surely be expelled.”

قَالَ إِنِّى لِعَمَلِكُم مِّنَ ٱلْقَالِينَ ﴿١٦٨﴾

26:168 Lot said, “I utterly abhor your practice

رَبِّ نَجِّنِى وَأَهْلِى مِمَّا يَعْمَلُونَ ﴿١٦٩﴾

26:169 My Lord, save me and my family from [the consequences of] what they do.”

فَنَجَّيْنَـٰهُ وَأَهْلَهُۥٓ أَجْمَعِينَ ﴿١٧٠﴾

26:170 So We saved him and all his family

إِلَّا عَجُوزًا فِى ٱلْغَـٰبِرِينَ ﴿١٧١﴾

26:171 except an old woman who was among those who remained behind

ثُمَّ دَمَّرْنَا ٱلْـَٔاخَرِينَ ﴿١٧٢﴾

26:172 Then We destroyed the rest

وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِم مَّطَرًا ۖ فَسَآءَ مَطَرُ ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ ﴿١٧٣﴾

26:173 and We poured down upon them a rain [of stones]. How terrible was the rain of those who were warned

إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ ﴿١٧٤﴾

26:174 Indeed, there is a sign in this, yet most of them would not believe

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ﴿١٧٥﴾

26:175 Your Lord is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful

كَذَّبَ أَصْحَـٰبُ لْـَٔيْكَةِ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ ﴿١٧٦﴾

26:176 The people of the Forest rejected the messengers

إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ شُعَيْبٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ ﴿١٧٧﴾

26:177 When Shu‘ayb said to them, “Will you not fear Allah

إِنِّى لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ ﴿١٧٨﴾

26:178 I am a trustworthy messenger to you

فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ ﴿١٧٩﴾

26:179 so fear Allah, and obey me

وَمَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِىَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ﴿١٨٠﴾

26:180 I do not ask you for any reward for this; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds

۞ أَوْفُوا۟ ٱلْكَيْلَ وَلَا تَكُونُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلْمُخْسِرِينَ ﴿١٨١﴾

26:181 Give full measure and do not be of those who defraud others

وَزِنُوا۟ بِٱلْقِسْطَاسِ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمِ ﴿١٨٢﴾

26:182 and weigh with accurate scales

وَلَا تَبْخَسُوا۟ ٱلنَّاسَ أَشْيَآءَهُمْ وَلَا تَعْثَوْا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مُفْسِدِينَ ﴿١٨٣﴾

26:183 and do not defraud people of their goods, nor go about in the land spreading corruption

وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكُمْ وَٱلْجِبِلَّةَ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ﴿١٨٤﴾

26:184 And fear the One Who created you and the former peoples.”

قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مِنَ ٱلْمُسَحَّرِينَ ﴿١٨٥﴾

26:185 They said, “You are truly bewitched

وَمَآ أَنتَ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا وَإِن نَّظُنُّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلْكَـٰذِبِينَ ﴿١٨٦﴾

26:186 You are only a human being like us, and we think you are nothing but a liar

فَأَسْقِطْ عَلَيْنَا كِسَفًا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ ﴿١٨٧﴾

26:187 So cause pieces of the sky to fall upon us, if you are of the truthful.”

قَالَ رَبِّىٓ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ ﴿١٨٨﴾

26:188 Shu‘ayb said, “My Lord knows best whatever you do.”

فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَخَذَهُمْ عَذَابُ يَوْمِ ٱلظُّلَّةِ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ ﴿١٨٩﴾

26:189 Thus they rejected him, so they were seized by the punishment of the cloudy day; it was the punishment of a horrible day

إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ ﴿١٩٠﴾

26:190 Indeed, there is a sign in this, yet most of them would not believe

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ﴿١٩١﴾

26:191 Your Lord is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful

وَإِنَّهُۥ لَتَنزِيلُ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ﴿١٩٢﴾

26:192 This is indeed a revelation from the Lord of the worlds

نَزَلَ بِهِ ٱلرُّوحُ ٱلْأَمِينُ ﴿١٩٣﴾

26:193 which the Trustworthy Spirit [Gabriel] has brought down

عَلَىٰ قَلْبِكَ لِتَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُنذِرِينَ ﴿١٩٤﴾

26:194 to your heart [O Prophet] so that you may be one of the warners

بِلِسَانٍ عَرَبِىٍّ مُّبِينٍ ﴿١٩٥﴾

26:195 in clear Arabic language

وَإِنَّهُۥ لَفِى زُبُرِ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ﴿١٩٦﴾

26:196 And it was indeed [mentioned] in the scriptures of the former peoples

أَوَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُمْ ءَايَةً أَن يَعْلَمَهُۥ عُلَمَـٰٓؤُا۟ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ ﴿١٩٧﴾

26:197 Was it not a proof for them that the learned men of the Children of Israel recognized it [to be true]

وَلَوْ نَزَّلْنَـٰهُ عَلَىٰ بَعْضِ ٱلْأَعْجَمِينَ ﴿١٩٨﴾

26:198 If We had sent it down to any of the non-Arabs

فَقَرَأَهُۥ عَلَيْهِم مَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ مُؤْمِنِينَ ﴿١٩٩﴾

26:199 and he had recited it to them, still they would not have believed in it

كَذَٰلِكَ سَلَكْنَـٰهُ فِى قُلُوبِ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ ﴿٢٠٠﴾

26:200 This is how We made it [disbelief] enter the hearts of the wicked

لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِۦ حَتَّىٰ يَرَوُا۟ ٱلْعَذَابَ ٱلْأَلِيمَ ﴿٢٠١﴾

26:201 They will not believe in it until they see the painful punishment

فَيَأْتِيَهُم بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ ﴿٢٠٢﴾

26:202 which will come upon them suddenly when they least expect it

فَيَقُولُوا۟ هَلْ نَحْنُ مُنظَرُونَ ﴿٢٠٣﴾

26:203 They will then say, “Can we be granted some respite?”

أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونَ ﴿٢٠٤﴾

26:204 Do they really seek to hasten Our punishment

أَفَرَءَيْتَ إِن مَّتَّعْنَـٰهُمْ سِنِينَ ﴿٢٠٥﴾

26:205 Tell me [O Prophet] if We give them a life of ease for years

ثُمَّ جَآءَهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يُوعَدُونَ ﴿٢٠٦﴾

26:206 then there came to them what they were warned of

مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يُمَتَّعُونَ ﴿٢٠٧﴾

26:207 what would avail them the life of ease that they were given

وَمَآ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍ إِلَّا لَهَا مُنذِرُونَ ﴿٢٠٨﴾

26:208 We never destroyed any town without sending them warners

ذِكْرَىٰ وَمَا كُنَّا ظَـٰلِمِينَ ﴿٢٠٩﴾

26:209 to admonish them, for We are never unjust

وَمَا تَنَزَّلَتْ بِهِ ٱلشَّيَـٰطِينُ ﴿٢١٠﴾

26:210 This [Qur’an] is not sent down by the devils

وَمَا يَنۢبَغِى لَهُمْ وَمَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ ﴿٢١١﴾

26:211 it is not for them to do this, nor is it within their capability

إِنَّهُمْ عَنِ ٱلسَّمْعِ لَمَعْزُولُونَ ﴿٢١٢﴾

26:212 for they are strictly barred from overhearing it

فَلَا تَدْعُ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَـٰهًا ءَاخَرَ فَتَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُعَذَّبِينَ ﴿٢١٣﴾

26:213 So do not call upon any other god besides Allah, lest you become of those who will be punished

وَأَنذِرْ عَشِيرَتَكَ ٱلْأَقْرَبِينَ ﴿٢١٤﴾

26:214 And warn [starting with] the nearest kinsfolk

وَٱخْفِضْ جَنَاحَكَ لِمَنِ ٱتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ﴿٢١٥﴾

26:215 and lower your wing [in kindness] to the believers who follow you

فَإِنْ عَصَوْكَ فَقُلْ إِنِّى بَرِىٓءٌ مِّمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ ﴿٢١٦﴾

26:216 But if they disobey you, say, “I disown what you do.”

وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ﴿٢١٧﴾

26:217 And put your trust in the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful

ٱلَّذِى يَرَىٰكَ حِينَ تَقُومُ ﴿٢١٨﴾

26:218 Who sees you when you stand up [for prayer]

وَتَقَلُّبَكَ فِى ٱلسَّـٰجِدِينَ ﴿٢١٩﴾

26:219 and your movements among those who prostrate

إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ ﴿٢٢٠﴾

26:220 Indeed, He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing

هَلْ أُنَبِّئُكُمْ عَلَىٰ مَن تَنَزَّلُ ٱلشَّيَـٰطِينُ ﴿٢٢١﴾

26:221 Shall I inform you upon who the devils descend

تَنَزَّلُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ أَفَّاكٍ أَثِيمٍ ﴿٢٢٢﴾

26:222 They descend upon every sinful liar

يُلْقُونَ ٱلسَّمْعَ وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ كَـٰذِبُونَ ﴿٢٢٣﴾

26:223 who whisper hearsay in the ears, but most of them are liars

وَٱلشُّعَرَآءُ يَتَّبِعُهُمُ ٱلْغَاوُۥنَ ﴿٢٢٤﴾

26:224 As for poets, they are followed by the deviants

أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّهُمْ فِى كُلِّ وَادٍ يَهِيمُونَ ﴿٢٢٥﴾

26:225 Do you not see that they wander aimlessly in every valley

وَأَنَّهُمْ يَقُولُونَ مَا لَا يَفْعَلُونَ ﴿٢٢٦﴾

26:226 and that they say what they do not do

إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ وَذَكَرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ كَثِيرًا وَٱنتَصَرُوا۟ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا ظُلِمُوا۟ ۗ وَسَيَعْلَمُ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوٓا۟ أَىَّ مُنقَلَبٍ يَنقَلِبُونَ ﴿٢٢٧﴾

26:227 Except those who believe, do righteous deeds, remember Allah much and defend themselves after being wronged. The wrongdoers will come to know what end awaits them
