Surah Al-Inshiqaqسورة الانشقاق

إِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ ٱنشَقَّتْ ﴿١﴾

84:1 When the sky is rent asunder

وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ ﴿٢﴾

84:2 and hearkens to its Lord, as it must

وَإِذَا ٱلْأَرْضُ مُدَّتْ ﴿٣﴾

84:3 and when the earth is leveled out

وَأَلْقَتْ مَا فِيهَا وَتَخَلَّتْ ﴿٤﴾

84:4 and casts out all what it contains, and becomes empty

وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ ﴿٥﴾

84:5 and hearkens to its Lord, as it must

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ إِنَّكَ كَادِحٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَدْحًا فَمُلَـٰقِيهِ ﴿٦﴾

84:6 O humans, you are toiling towards your Lord, and you will surely meet Him

فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِىَ كِتَـٰبَهُۥ بِيَمِينِهِۦ ﴿٧﴾

84:7 Whoever is given his Record in his right hand

فَسَوْفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا ﴿٨﴾

84:8 he will have an easy reckoning

وَيَنقَلِبُ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِۦ مَسْرُورًا ﴿٩﴾

84:9 and he will return to his people joyfully

وَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِىَ كِتَـٰبَهُۥ وَرَآءَ ظَهْرِهِۦ ﴿١٠﴾

84:10 But whoever is given his Record from behind his back

فَسَوْفَ يَدْعُوا۟ ثُبُورًا ﴿١١﴾

84:11 he will call out for destruction

وَيَصْلَىٰ سَعِيرًا ﴿١٢﴾

84:12 and he will enter the Blazing Fire

إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ فِىٓ أَهْلِهِۦ مَسْرُورًا ﴿١٣﴾

84:13 Indeed, he used to live among his people joyfully

إِنَّهُۥ ظَنَّ أَن لَّن يَحُورَ ﴿١٤﴾

84:14 and he thought that he would never return [to Allah]

بَلَىٰٓ إِنَّ رَبَّهُۥ كَانَ بِهِۦ بَصِيرًا ﴿١٥﴾

84:15 Indeed he will! His Lord was always watching him

فَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِٱلشَّفَقِ ﴿١٦﴾

84:16 Indeed, I swear by the twilight

وَٱلَّيْلِ وَمَا وَسَقَ ﴿١٧﴾

84:17 and by the night and what it covers

وَٱلْقَمَرِ إِذَا ٱتَّسَقَ ﴿١٨﴾

84:18 and by the moon when it becomes full

لَتَرْكَبُنَّ طَبَقًا عَن طَبَقٍ ﴿١٩﴾

84:19 You will surely pass from one stage to another

فَمَا لَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ ﴿٢٠﴾

84:20 Then what is the matter with them that they do not believe

وَإِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْقُرْءَانُ لَا يَسْجُدُونَ ۩ ﴿٢١﴾

84:21 and when the Qur’an is recited to them, they do not prostrate

بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ يُكَذِّبُونَ ﴿٢٢﴾

84:22 Rather, the disbelievers persist in denying it

وَٱللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يُوعُونَ ﴿٢٣﴾

84:23 but Allah knows best whatever they harbor in their hearts

فَبَشِّرْهُم بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ ﴿٢٤﴾

84:24 So give them the tidings of a painful punishment

إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ لَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍۭ ﴿٢٥﴾

84:25 But those who believe and do righteous deeds will have a never-ending reward
