Surah Al-Mursalatسورة المرسلات

وَٱلْمُرْسَلَـٰتِ عُرْفًا ﴿١﴾

77:1 By those [winds] sent forth in succession

فَٱلْعَـٰصِفَـٰتِ عَصْفًا ﴿٢﴾

77:2 those that blow violently

وَٱلنَّـٰشِرَٰتِ نَشْرًا ﴿٣﴾

77:3 and scatter [rainclouds] far and wide

فَٱلْفَـٰرِقَـٰتِ فَرْقًا ﴿٤﴾

77:4 And by those [angels] who bring criterion

فَٱلْمُلْقِيَـٰتِ ذِكْرًا ﴿٥﴾

77:5 and those who deliver revelation

عُذْرًا أَوْ نُذْرًا ﴿٦﴾

77:6 leaving no excuse or giving warning –

إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَٰقِعٌ ﴿٧﴾

77:7 what you are promised will surely come to pass

فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ ﴿٨﴾

77:8 So when the stars are extinguished

وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ فُرِجَتْ ﴿٩﴾

77:9 and when the sky is split apart

وَإِذَا ٱلْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْ ﴿١٠﴾

77:10 and when the mountains are blown away

وَإِذَا ٱلرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتْ ﴿١١﴾

77:11 and when the messengers are summoned

لِأَىِّ يَوْمٍ أُجِّلَتْ ﴿١٢﴾

77:12 until which Day has all this been postponed

لِيَوْمِ ٱلْفَصْلِ ﴿١٣﴾

77:13 Until the Day of Judgment

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ ﴿١٤﴾

77:14 How do you know what the Day of Judgment is

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿١٥﴾

77:15 Woe on that Day to the deniers

أَلَمْ نُهْلِكِ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ﴿١٦﴾

77:16 Did We not destroy the earlier nations

ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُهُمُ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ ﴿١٧﴾

77:17 Then We will do likewise to the later ones

كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ ﴿١٨﴾

77:18 This is how We deal with the wicked

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿١٩﴾

77:19 Woe on that Day to the deniers

أَلَمْ نَخْلُقكُّم مِّن مَّآءٍ مَّهِينٍ ﴿٢٠﴾

77:20 Did We not create you from a worthless fluid

فَجَعَلْنَـٰهُ فِى قَرَارٍ مَّكِينٍ ﴿٢١﴾

77:21 then We placed it in a secure repository

إِلَىٰ قَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ ﴿٢٢﴾

77:22 for a determined period

فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ ٱلْقَـٰدِرُونَ ﴿٢٣﴾

77:23 For We determined it; How excellently We determine

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿٢٤﴾

77:24 Woe on that Day to the deniers

أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ ٱلْأَرْضَ كِفَاتًا ﴿٢٥﴾

77:25 Have We not made the earth a receptacle

أَحْيَآءً وَأَمْوَٰتًا ﴿٢٦﴾

77:26 for the living and the dead

وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ شَـٰمِخَـٰتٍ وَأَسْقَيْنَـٰكُم مَّآءً فُرَاتًا ﴿٢٧﴾

77:27 and placed therein firm towering mountains, and given you fresh water to drink

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿٢٨﴾

77:28 Woe on that Day to the deniers

ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ ﴿٢٩﴾

77:29 [They will be told,] “Proceed to that [Fire] which you used to deny

ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ ظِلٍّ ذِى ثَلَـٰثِ شُعَبٍ ﴿٣٠﴾

77:30 Proceed to the shadow [of smoke] ascending in three columns

لَّا ظَلِيلٍ وَلَا يُغْنِى مِنَ ٱللَّهَبِ ﴿٣١﴾

77:31 that provides neither shade nor protection from the flames

إِنَّهَا تَرْمِى بِشَرَرٍ كَٱلْقَصْرِ ﴿٣٢﴾

77:32 Indeed, it [Hell] throws up sparks as big as castles

كَأَنَّهُۥ جِمَـٰلَتٌ صُفْرٌ ﴿٣٣﴾

77:33 as if they were tawny camels

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿٣٤﴾

77:34 Woe on that Day to the deniers

هَـٰذَا يَوْمُ لَا يَنطِقُونَ ﴿٣٥﴾

77:35 On that Day they won’t speak

وَلَا يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ ﴿٣٦﴾

77:36 nor will they be allowed to make excuses

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿٣٧﴾

77:37 Woe on that Day to the deniers

هَـٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ ۖ جَمَعْنَـٰكُمْ وَٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ﴿٣٨﴾

77:38 [They will be told,] “This is the Day of Judgment: We have gathered you along with the earlier generations

فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌ فَكِيدُونِ ﴿٣٩﴾

77:39 So if you have any scheme, then plot it against Me.”

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿٤٠﴾

77:40 Woe on that Day to the deniers

إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى ظِلَـٰلٍ وَعُيُونٍ ﴿٤١﴾

77:41 Indeed, the righteous will be amid shades and springs

وَفَوَٰكِهَ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ ﴿٤٢﴾

77:42 and will have whatever fruit they desire

كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ هَنِيٓـًٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ﴿٤٣﴾

77:43 [They will be told,] “Eat and drink joyfully, as a reward for what you used to do.”

إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ ﴿٤٤﴾

77:44 This is how We reward those who do good

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿٤٥﴾

77:45 Woe on that Day to the deniers

كُلُوا۟ وَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجْرِمُونَ ﴿٤٦﴾

77:46 “Eat and enjoy yourselves for a while; you are truly wicked.”

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿٤٧﴾

77:47 Woe on that Day to the deniers

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱرْكَعُوا۟ لَا يَرْكَعُونَ ﴿٤٨﴾

77:48 When it is said to them, “Bow [in prayer]”, they do not bow

وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿٤٩﴾

77:49 Woe on that Day to the deniers

فَبِأَىِّ حَدِيثٍۭ بَعْدَهُۥ يُؤْمِنُونَ ﴿٥٠﴾

77:50 In which message after this [Qur’an] will they believe
